Corrigall & Co is a Cape Town-based cultural consultancy and production company working across contemporary art, culture and the creative industries.

We develop projects, platforms, content and strategies that connect cultural organisations, artists and audiences.

Our work brings together cultural research, editorial expertise, programming and production. We work with galleries, museums, cultural organisations, businesses, government entities and independent practitioners to identify opportunities, develop audiences and create meaningful public-facing cultural experiences.

Corrigall & Co produces HEAT Festival, an annual multi-arts festival in Cape Town established in 2024 to stimulate cultural activity and encourage audiences to engage with the city's galleries, museums, theatres and cultural spaces during winter.

Alongside producing cultural projects and events, we develop publications, editorial and digital content, talks, workshops and educational programmes. We also undertake targeted research into audiences, cultural ecosystems and the changing conditions shaping the arts — including the impact of digitalisation on galleries and the art market.

 

Corrigall & Co was founded in 2015 by Mary Corrigall, an award-winning arts journalist, researcher and cultural producer. Drawing on more than two decades of experience in journalism, academia and the arts, Corrigall has written extensively on contemporary African art and has delivered lectures and talks for galleries, auction houses, art fairs and international educational institutions.
